We believe a personable, more hands-on approach to golf course design is the way of the future. This emerging ‘hands-on-design’ ethos creates a much more inspiring product in the field, where it matters most. It also just happens to be considerably more cost efficient for clubs and prospective clients.

Upon completion of the planning stages, the design process then simply relies on a core group of creative professionals who are capable of personally managing and coordinating the design’s implementation from start to finish. This means the designers are actually on-site more days than not—and not just overseeing the project's progress, but actively creating and editing the golf course’s features day-in and day-out.

Simply put, at Integrative Golf Design we integrate the creative design process with the realities of the construction process in one streamlined and concerted effort.

In our experience, the shaping processes in golf course construction are just an extension of the design process, and perhaps the most critical aspect.  Working from a concept, rather than a rigid set of plans, we believe this creative latitude gives us the freedom and flexibility to make improvements to the work as it gets built in the field.

Moreover, we are passionate about personally implementing our own design ideas in the field so nothing is lost in translation from paper to dirt. Such artistic license not only allows us to pivot, react, evolve, and edit our ideas in real-time and in the field, but also affords us the opportunity to add that extra layer of design nuance and creative detail along the way.
